Powder Coating Oven

Industrial powder coating is usually done in two steps: first, the coating is electrostatically applied to the component, and then the newly powdered part is cured in our industrial powder coating ovens to form a hard-plastic coating. This method is effective since the powder wraps around the entire part for improved coverage and can use up to 95% of the powder. Thermoplastic and Thermoset powders are the two types of powder which used to coat items.

Powdered Thermoset

Thermoset powder is most commonly used for powder coating because it creates a beautiful surface layer, gives a polished look, and is durable. It also combines with other chemical groups in the powder when baked, making the polymerization tougher and improving the performance attributes. Further heating will not melt thermoset powder back into a liquid after it has been cured in our powder coating ovens.

Powdered Thermoplastic

The thermoplastic powder, unlike thermoset, does not alter permanently during baking and will remelt if heated. For example, these coatings can be found on refrigerator shelves and metal benches. Thermoplastic powder coatings give a variety of materials a useful, flexible, and long-lasting finish.

Industrial powder coating ovens from Hotking Oven are designed to prevent powder blow-off and provide uniform air distribution throughout the work chamber, reducing rework and saving you time and money. This also leads to high-quality cured finishes and shorter cycle times. To aid shorten installation and start-up periods, these industrial ovens are factory calibrated and tested prior to shipment from our facilities.

Our powder coating ovens come in a different type of sizes and configurations, including reach-in, walk-in, and top-load designs. Powder coating ovens from Hotking Oven are factory calibrated and tested before shipping to help reduce installation and start-up times.
