Heating Mantle

In laboratories, a heating mantle is a device that is used to heat or temper particular media in glass jars. The precise volumes of liquids that are required can be heated due to the varying sizes of glass jars. A heating mantle's volume ranges from 100 millilitres to ten litres at PCE. This guarantees that each consumer receives the exact product that meets their specific needs.Temperatures as high as +450 °C (842 °F) have been recorded. The heat-up period is extremely short, allowing laboratory personnel to get right to work. Another benefit of employing a heating mantle is that the heat is dispersed very uniformly, eliminating the risk of hotspots on the flask. When employing a heating mantle, no condensed water is produced. A heating mantle, as opposed to conventional tempering equipment such as hot plates, Bunsen burners, or water baths, is suited for organic liquids that can sometimes ignite when using other equipment.

APPLICATION

  • I withstands high temperature up to 350 degree celcious.
  • The body of the mantle is spun one piece from non-rusting Aluminium (upto 5.0 Liters Capacity) duly stoving painted.
  • All Heating mantles are lagged with special grade mineral wool.
